MSFT and PC bio-access market I agree with your assessment that the end users will have the most say in the next several quarters over whether the need for ease of use and security benefits are significant enough now to overcome the cost of the solution. If so they will adopt now with the understanding that IDX would likely provide a MSFT compatibility update for minimal cost when and if MSFT ever develops a biometric solution. We all know that commercial users will lead the adoption of biometrics. They have the most to lose (data security exposure), the most to gain (reduce help desk calls, increased productivity, network security, etc.) and the money to adopt. Watch for end-user announcements to: 1) validate IDX's market position 2) signify the market's willingness to move ahead on biometrics without MSFT and 3) indicate that hardware and software price points have finally reached the point where widespread biometric adoption is becoming attractive.
