re: PPI. this latest number came in tame, as expected due to the timing of the sampling. the NEXT one won't be as tame. the energy complex is on fire: tfc-charts.w2d.com tfc-charts.w2d.com tfc-charts.w2d.com most amazingly, HEATING OIL for summer delivery is at a new high! this goes to show that there must be severe bottle-necks in refining capacity. distillates going through the roof, and may well continue to do so. add to that the nascent ag bull market: tfc-charts.w2d.com and it becomes clear that those things we tend to exclude from the numbers because they go up in price, continue to do so.
