bobby:

Cramer's even better than you - only if he is used as a contrarion though:

"The Hybrids and the Brand Names Get the Hook" from 3/10/00:

At the end of the week I found myself repeatedly drawn to shorting Berkshire Hathaway (BRKa:NYSE). That premium-selling repository of brands that once sold at a premium seems ripe for the banging

Needless to say, the clown was on the "Wrong!" side at EXACTLY the wrong time again (to the day even)!

My "guess" is Nas /Dow open marginally up, trade with some viguour during the day and close "slightly to the upside.
What "should" be appreciated here, is that each time one of these numbers comes in "as expected' or lower than expected it "baits" more people into accepting the possibility of a .5% rise with little else being of concern in the shortterm. Being that our society is a "fast-food, fast buck society, June implications are tooo far away to worry about right now. I'm still saying 3600 is more than a possibility, and with these numbers a probability.
