let me add...the CRB index is right at trend line resistance (basis daily chart). should it break through, i would expect the uptrend in commodity prices to accelerate. with the dollar index at what looks like the final stages of a parabolic blow-off this scenario gains some credence. as a long term chart of the CRB reveals, it is close to challenging long term resistance:
