Dell developing new PDAs
Michael has mentioned that there are no plans to build PDAs. It's a very low margin business. They are available through Gigabuys.

Darrell,
Hi!!

RE: kemble, what do you know about Dell developing new PDAs (personal digital assistants), both wired and wireless to compete with the booming cell phone/internet market?

just think what Dell could do in Coms or NTT's proposed space...with Dell's model

It's old...but, I've been told so many times that the folks at DELL never get tired of the realization that the model is the key....You know my obvious answer... :o) But, let's be realistic...Isn't anything that is successful in life something that is refined and something one can count on with confidence? Even in coaching we preach about hitting singles low if he can't stop them...and you keep hitting singles low UNTIL he stops them....Don't be cute...DELL knows this and they know that their model is being refined as we write ....It's this that scares me....Their opportunities are anywhere they choose with that model...Michael tell us this and why should we ever doubt the continuing refinement? "80% FRICTIONLESS IN 18 MONTHS"...
Think of those savings alone...or think of the pressure on the others??? Yes, that's the answer...Think of the pressure on the others ...

Best, Kemble
