mike, nice article. I think it reinforces the fear factor when the one day mutual fund outlows exceeded in flows.

Plus, when you have LB's dad getting concerned... <g>

I can assure you, the inmates throwing all that money into mutal funds in record inflows Jan through March and ordering the money managers to put it to work have been whipsawed and now the market is in better control of the insane asylum.

When you start to see the inmates turn up the heat again with and you see the inflows turning significatly up... it will be time to get out again<g>

THE BOTTOM IS IN.

Best regards, J.T.

mike, I think you can kiss the 20 + million back to back to back volume days on COMP good-bye for awhile.

Go back and check the COMP volume early November 99 days when we were at 12 to 14 million share days and cut and paste todays volume over the last two weeks right next to it. I think when you see volume getting above 17 million back to back to back the heat is returning to the COMP kitchen

One apples to orange litmus test is the DOW's volume those three April 99 trading days (15th, 16th and 19th)when volume swelled to 10.9 then 10 then 12 million. This was two weeks after DOW closed above magic DOW 10,000. Bull was in full heat. As it turned out, we never returned to back to back to back 10 MIL + volume days until December 99 when DOW was moving above DOW 11,000 and they were talking about 12K right around the corner.

Look for the same theory to apply to COMP and moving above COMP 4,000 to get psychology of market thinking we can get back above COMP 5,000. Not saying it is going to happen, but when that point of recognition comes into the average investor, it will be time to take the money off the table again.

Best Regards, J.T.
