Peter,
Based on the stock prices, HCP, HR, UHT, and HCN are among the strongest medical REITs as most are off more than 50% and have significant risks with the tenants. I have heard that HCN has less exposure than many to the nursing homes, but I really haven't studied their tenant mix. The preferred is much safer in my opinion and this investment is very likely to have a continuous dividend.

FFA is a pretty decent quality REIT that is down about 10% from it's high. I bought a little and will add more if it gets down to 21-1/2. SIZ raised the dividend today. It has run 10% in the last few sessions, but it belongs between 7-1/2 to 9 in my opinion based on the other REITs.
