OT: Are you suggesting that investors with GUTs should stick a TOE in the water with WIND, or are you just trying to string them along? (We could confirm to Schroedinger that the TOE was, in fact, in the water and in the wind at the same time!)

Allen, thank you for your many insightful, illuminating comments that serve to educate those of us looking in to this industry from a distance. (How refreshing to read comments someone who is self-confident and intellectually honest enough to state '#1. I could be wrong.' (paraphrase of one of your first posts in February)). Thanks!

BTW, When I thank Allen for his intellectual honesty, I am comparing him to some of the flaming polemics you see on other threads or other sites. I think the contributors to this thread are an exceptional lot. There are many additional people I could/should also thank on this thread (Khan, Connolly, WJ, etc.).

Hi Allen,

re: market perceptions

Your optimistic projections of WIND's future earnings seem plausible to me. "Intel, Cisco, gorilla software monopoly, Internet Appliances": WIND has all the right buzz words. Yet, Wall Street continues to give the stock a B minus. The stock has jumped up recently but still, it has advanced only 20% above its price 1.5 years ago. There is a huge divergence between your outlook and Wall Street's outlook.

For example here is a review of the Janus Internet Fund which is concentrating on Internet infrastructure, but makes no mention of WIND RIVER. Why the disconnection? What can be done about it? Have you wondered about this issue?

Thanks---Peter
