Yes Bob I also got tired of saying "next quarter".

As you point out, the decision to under-play the ODBMS product line means that the B2B stuff has to achieve astronomical growth just for the company to achieve a fairly ho-hum result.

The thread has been really quiet lately (I think I can hazard a guess why).

Here's some more info about the B2B business FWIW

I was recently at Australia's major financial markets IT trade show. Australia is one of the top 10 IT markets in the world. Oracle and IBM had huge displays and really made a big impact. Sybase was there. And there were lots of "me too" e-commerce companies offering diferent kinds of products and services.

How much exposure did EXLN have at the show? Absolutely zero.

I just can't see why a company with such a low profile is going to suddenly make big inroads on the market. Is it because it has great products? Well it always has had great products, and that never led to massive revenue growth.

I mentioned EXLN to a number of people at the show, and only one of them (a C++ developer) had even heard of the company or its products. Certainly none of the managers had (and I spoke to quite a few of them).

Could somebody explain to me why a company with virtually zero brand-recognition is suddenly going to experience massive growth? If you were a manager aiming to protect your job, would you buy from Oracle (that has full-page ads in all the business magazines), or from a company nobody has heard of?
