"Couple all this with puts and calls on the COMS and PALM regular and you can easily get a headache." You said it! Actually, I want to thank you for your kind response. It reaffirms what my broker told me a little while after my post original. He said it's not as unusual as it seemed, to me, to have such things tradable in parts (so to speak). Gotta go now. Have to exercise my brain muscles so I'm able to figure all this out by July 7 -- sell COMSv, buy PALMv, short COMSv against the box, hold COMS, buy PALM, sell PALMv, or.. most likely of all... sit paralyzed staring at the monitor, my tongue hanging out and a lick of spittle stuck in the corner of my mouth. Maybe CSCO would have been a better choice....
