Today is VERY ominous for QCOM, Rick

QCOM seems now to be in a funk on many levels: emotional, technical, public perceptions, House perceptions, . . . .

It's possible QCOM won't see much above 100 (if at all) at least through the next earnings announcement in July. Alex Cena may end up being viewed by the Houses as being in need in psychiatric treatment. The China vote (if positive for QCOM) may only be of 100-maintenance assistance.

QCOM is now undergoing a complete and total reevaluation of its P/E ratio. Period. Punto. The worst thing that ever happened to it was the December spike. It unmasked QCOM and exposed it to very careful analysis.

We need HDR now and we need it badly. We need public exposure for it and, quite possibly, we need a Clinton-Jacobs public campaign to put it on the cover of Time Magazine.

When QCOM goes down on news such as DDI, while Nokia goes up, the situation becoms obvious. QCOM is meat.

I'm done fooling around. I'm now applying for QCOM's VP of Public Relations position immediately. The company needs me in that capacity. Chuck (candide@southern.boy), where's that application? I'm sick, tired, and pissed off.

No longer just porchin'
John

Any bulls on here? SURE! I made money this week. Hope everyone else did, too. Fed, not waiting on them. QCOM, the mighty QCOM... not waiting on it. Well, actually my strategy to scale down on it several weeks ago worked great for my options style of investing. Took that money elsewhere and made money. Disappointed that the Q didn't do anything on the DDI/cdma news. Pitiful.... and forget the notion that "everyone already knew".... bull, it still should have held up better today on that news.

Is everyone still watching CREE? That baby is looking good.
