ff, I don't think you're questions are inappropriate at all. That's how we all learn (that and studying alot! <g>) This thread trades all industries though (as you can see by the thread header). Jenna had us into the Utilities sector weeks before all of the analysts began to issue buy ratings there. Also the biotech's before they were the rage. Jenna is a very astute trader who spends quite a bit of time on the research that she does on the daily watchlists. I don't know whether you're a subscriber or not. If not I would recommend it. The fee is usually paid for in a day! She provides earnings watch lists as well which are comprised of excellent earners (not only in the tech sector). Lately I've been learning to short some of my favorites, cover only to go long again. All of that from Jenna's tuteledge. In the tech wreck from the March/April highs you would be better off to diversify into different sectors. Jenna does that for the subscribers here. Trades are not always technical especially when you know the issue. With the volume on the NAS today and the previous experience w/ TERN it looked like a no brainer to me! I still don't have the patience that Jenna does when it comes to shorting, but I'm learning. That's what's important. So don't worry about asking questions, ask away. I think you'll see everyone here is really helpful and nice.
