I have no idea where you got this notion, but I am online all day communicating with people and doing the markets, and I'm on all night chatting and playing games online. My eldest son is on half the night downloading mpegs. My throughput here is far better than any ADSL line I have ever heard of. Like I said, it depends on your cable carrier. I have comcast@home, things fly around here :)
