Has anybody bothered to call the semiconductor companies to ask if they are manufacturing W-CDMA ASICs?

I know at least one company that is actively searching for a semiconductor company to produce their ASIC.

Could anybody produce a list of companies that are likely to produce W-CDMA ASICs?

There is Golden Bridge Technology, gbtwireless.com, and InterDigital Communications (IDCC).

IDCC, as you know, is working with Nokia to develop 3G building blocks. I believe IDCC's ASIC is ready to go, and they are just waiting for a chip partner to begin production.
