PKD vs. FLC....

Now, to be fair; I never took the bet based on the 30 day time limit (VBG) ?

Long Term - I still like the Bird ~ but, for a month - who knows ?

PS - why would FLC want to merge with RIG ? Seems they are entering the sweetspot here ? I guess they would get RIG's shares as currency - still good upside there.

DO has so much cash; I've allways though DO & GLM, or NE, or MRL would merge with someone here ?

The two I mentioned:

are up 13% and 7.75% respectively over the same two days.

I am also pretty heavily into Petroquest (PQUE), formerly Optima, whose annual report I just got and which seems moving solidly ahead to produce a lot more gas. I liked the annual report because although it was on pretty good paper, it didn't waste any money on glamorous photos. My rule is that if an annual report has pictures of really good-looking people, the company is a sell; if the people look ugly, it is a hold; and if there are no pictures at all of company personnel, it's a buy. <g, as we say>
