Way to go, folks. You've proved Ted's point. People who watch this thread are too impolite and hostile for him to even bother following it. Ya done good. Now, you can whine, moan, bitch and complain without worrying whether anyone from CNBC will ever see it. Most of you are disgusting. If you want CNBC to improve, then, idiots, say what you'd LIKE to see. It is dumber than a box of rocks to whine, moan, bitch and complain without some positive, CONSTRUCTIVE comment. Listen. Ted isn't what keeps the thread going. But, if your whole point is to trash CNBC, then maybe you'd be happier on Raging Bull or Yahoo. I don't object to critical comments, or even personal attacks on someone you may not like: I DO object to the pointless broadsides towards ONE person for the mistakes (imagined or real) of his co-workers. I have plenty of comments about CNBC (Not CNBS) that may or not be valid. But just because YOUR portfolio is going to crap in the last few weeks is no reason to blame it on some news channel. When you do well enough to hire your own analysts and can dictate how you want info presented to you, the lords of your own domains, THEN you can whimper and whine on this thread about all the CNBC misdeeds. Until then, friends, take your lumps as the market provides. The "you're too bullish" and "you're too bearish" crap is nothing more than a declaration of how short or long you might be, and whether or not you are ahead or behind in your own portfolio. You want to comment on the market? Fine. Go for it. Don't like a particular guest? Great, make a fuss. Think the overall tone of the anchors is beyond the pale? Ok, say so! No problem. Is the news or the weather slanting too far? By gum, let's hear your side of it. Are the guests all too far to one side or another? Tell us about it, by golly! But, let's not say, "Ted, the sun comes up in the East, and that really makes me angry. Suns belong in the West! If you don't change that, I'll whine, moan, and complain about YOU personally." C'mon, folks. Think about what you are telling Ted. I don't ask you to like him, or even care about his hurt feelings. Just from the point of pure practicality, spend two seconds to think about what the result of your words might be. Think? Is that too much to ask? jim
