i'll post more travelogue next week.
been all over mount olympia national park for the past week.

heading for victoria canada, in the am, by ferry for a few days. my honey wants to go to a high tea in some hotel and look at flowers.

i told her i would take her...but while she sips tea with the girls....i'll be in the bar having a beer and hot pastrami sandwich while breaking wind with the guys.

she laughed....good sense of humor on that gal.
but....i was serious.

I tried long and hard but I couldn't come up with a good FARC pun. Closest I got was "FARC is worse than its bite." I was kicked out of the office for the weekend after I suggested that, for a section proposing direct U.S. mediation efforts involving the Colombian President and rebel leaders, we use the subtitle "Pastrana on Wye?"

Nobody appreciates my brilliance...
