I believe Molloy stated that a while back. So is IDCC and NOK ready to cut a deal with Q? Seems to me Q & IDCC settled up years ago, or are you counting on support from big brother?

<More like, NOK and IDCC are ready to "cut out" QCOM. Both have stated they can
deploy WCDMA sans QCOM IPR. Will they? It's possible.>

It would be unlikely. LU & ERICY & NT would be pissed. <gg>

I suggest you read this and inform the newduo of Q's intentions.

Staying on the other, 3G, and in particular W-CDMA, major companies, Lucent,
Ericsson, Nortel, Samsung, Philips, and a number of others are licensed today to
do W-CDMA or DS CDMA, the mode of the ITU standard, proposed standard.
And these license agreements require that these companies pay us royalties. And
it's the same royalty, whether they sell products for CDMAone, whether they sell
the products for MC CDMA, or whether they sell it for DS CDMA.
