A stock that perfectly fits your category of the ability to have a major influence on the world is a Canadian Fuel Cell stock. No not Ballard. Check out Global Thermoelectric GLE on TSE. Still small market cap, about 1/2 billion$. There is an SI thread and a Stockhouse thread. Read in particular the Delphi Automotive Press kit on fuel cells. Just imagine having vehicles that don't have huge engines idling away in traffic jams just to keep you cold or warm, depending on the season. A quantum leap in fuel efficiency for all vehicles on the roads all over the world. That's the future and GLE is making the fuel cells that will provide the electric power for this to happen.

How cool is that!

I guess if I have to ask about the price tag I can't afford it. <gg>
