No - I am not going to pull out the comments you or Gregg made about GSM and TDMA back in 1998. Nor the comments you made about W-CDMA, China, AT&T, Voicestream, European GSM operators, Nokia's future growth rate or Ericsson's future performance. I'm not playing this game, because I know what people who do end up looking like.

Mike - Just to prevent this holy war from becoming too unfriendly, I've certainly made some mistakes:

1) I didn't think that Q! would give in on their desire to converge chip rates and basestation synch - they did.

2) I (and GP, so I was in good company) didn't think that Qualcomm would sell their handset division - they did.

3) I completely screwed up the whole CDMAOne security topic.

...

Always good to keep your mistakes in mind to minimize the chance of making more.

Clark

PS I trust that you understand that for Tero this is fun. The fact that he can tweak us QCOMers is an amusement, perhaps a little sadistic, but we are after all on the Nokia board not the Qualcomm board. As long as we keep that in mind when reading his posts, it is almost as much fun to watch him dance as he obviously has doing the dance. (Tero - In all seriousness, no hard feelings from me.)
