Rep. Leach of Iowa has introduced H.R. 4419 to make credit card payments illegal for internet gambling. But there are already lots of ways around this, including debit cards and whatever e-cash transfer technology the future may bring us.

Please note that Iowa has river boat gambling which Mr. Leach is trying to protect. And one can certainly obtain cash for gambling with your credit card on these river boats.
