MG, Re: Disposing of one's income.

May 9, 2000
Wal-Mart Chairman David Glass shrugged off recent warnings from analysts that retail earnings would
likely be pressured by an expected slowdown in consumer spending. "Several of the analysts that I read recently have expressed concern about a slowdown in consumer
spending," Glass told analysts in a conference call. "We currently do not see signs that support that
theory."

Amazing how the ANAL-ysts attack retail sales right before the Big Boyz (WMT & HD) release their earnings, while the companies are in a quiet period and cannot respond. It makes me want to vomit.

MG> my humor is getting so rabbinical its not even funny
anymore ;\ - I meant "US spend less" in the biblical,
ejaculational term. But yes, what you say is - as always -
in colorful real-life correlation with what I see from far
away.

In this sense income-to-savings rate of an average Joe Blow
of US must be even worse than the published - 0.4%.

And what do we Europeans get in return (sulk sulk) for our moneys?
a) "its our stock market, but its your problem" and
b) "its your euro and its your problem"
c) A great ROI still, if you know how to move your butt.

Something on a completely different subject:
survival of the fittest
