Nice work. Thanks for taking the time to showcase the evidence.

Few if any of us have matched the GKI's performance, primarily due to overweighting in specific companies or infatuation with Shiny Pebbles, and there are some important lessons to be learned.

After making that comment about year-to-date performance, you later mentioned separately that six weeks or months is too short a period of time to judge. I'd like to add that I bet a lot of us who look at our G&K holdings since Jan. 1, 1999, did as well or better than the index because of our so-called overweighting in specific companies.

On a related matter, Siebel has now grown to be my largest holding though I haven't added any shares. The fact that Siebel is up year-to-date as much as Qualcomm is down for the same period explains why that's the case.
