Glad you agree that gold is manipulated and is not a free market at all. Are you merely assuming this manipulation or do you have facts to back up your thesis?

Sigh...no like all others, it is more than just a suspicion. It is a matter of elliminating odds at this point. When Gold attempts to rally it would be "coincidental" if strategic announcments that suppressed that run occured 3 out of every 10 times. But even the most reserved of individuals has to question 10 out of 10.

I am a closet gold bug, I got my start in the markets by playing mining companies. You tend to get into a rythmn with the topsie turvey pricing with gold. Gold tended to respond to a set of rules that never varied. If there was fear in equities, then gold was the harbinger. If there was fear of inflation, then gold was the harbinger. The last "true" unmanipulated gold value was seen just before the Thailand Baht was devalued and this whole monetary failure began.

In the end it is much like the market in general. Does a conflict of interest exist between Brokerages and the Equities they push.....? Absolutely! Do brokerages recommend stocks that they intend on cleaning out of their house positions, absolutely! Do houses stock up on stock prior to recommending it, absolutely. Do Brokerage houses have floors of daytraders that "spoof" the market into believing there is demand in a stock when their is not, or no demand in a stock when their is? Absolutely! Do Analysts from these same brokerages get on TV and blame those "damn daytraders" for the volatility in the markets, knowing full well the public thinks its the "independant daytrader" he is talking about, Absolutely!

Can all of this be proven including the manipulation of Gold, Absolutely? Who would the people be who could prove it? The very people that do it! Are they likely to "squeal" on themselves......not in your life time! Do I believe we are all getting screwed? With a solid gold "rectal probe".... I do!!!
