Dear RS, are you having trouble reading or using glocall's web site?

You got it almost correct "that the 1.60$/minute is not for a portable user terminal--it's for a "high gain/big dish" terminal." What the "high gain/big dish" terminal is, is a standard ol' portable laptop/notebook sized
Inmarsat Mini-M terminal (H x W x D, 52 mm x 270 m x 200
mm., 2.2 kg (incl. handset, battery pack and antenna) with an external fold out antenna (http://www.glocall.com/land.html#det1).

However, somehow you forgot to read or understand the rates, so i've taken the liberty of copying for you from the web site (http://www.glocall.com/css.html) the details of the various subscription plan and pre-paid options. Please note these are for the standard Mini-M Inmarsat, not the big dish? All ok so far? Ok, here we go with the rate plans:

Monthly Invoice plans:
Stand-by: $2.90/min, $0/month
Regular: $2.60/min, $15/month
Freedom: $2.30/min, $50/month
Gold: $2.10/min, $95/month

Pre-Paid plans:
Call 100, $250, $2.50 per minute
Call 200, $480, $2.45 per minute
Call 600, $1440, $2.40 per minute
Call 1200, $2820, $2.35 per minute
Call 2500, $5750, $2.30 per minute

So got that now all OK? We're talking $2.10/min to
$2.95/min with a standard Inmarsat Mini-M terminal.

(I sure wish you were as through and as dilligent with the
few Inmarsat web sites as you seem to be with the many and
various and sundry Globalstar web sites!)

Best regards,
Geoff
