Sounds like it could be thrush instead of a virus. They treat it with some really nasty stuff you have to swab on the sores in the mouth. The Littlest Smithee had it when she was about a year old. No fun. Tell the little he'll be fine soon.

My kids both had that when they were little. Very very tough. Squeeze your little one a few extra times, poor guy.

You know what causes that? vienna sausage! Wait until the dreaded LICE invade. I don't ever remember anyone having lice when I was a kid..THese days we get a note home every other week about another outbreak. We've never had that kind of fun yet, but I have friends who have been through it..it ain't pretty
