Hey chic, I think the Register picked up your scoop on the IBM "Anthlon" box, see theregister.co.uk

But Big Blue seems to have jumped the gun, according to this incredibly long URL on the Aptiva page. (http://www9b.pc.ibm.com:8080/ibm_us/ConfigFrames.jsp?wizard=restart&configpage=ConfigFrames.jsp&merchant_rn=1&cntry=840&lang=en_US&shoptype=D&base=2174880&baseqty=1&return_url=http://commerce.www.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/AddReplaceConfig%3Fcntry%3D840%26lang%3Den_US%26sgnbr%3D%26in_shipto%3Dn%26shipto_rn%3D%26)

Personally, I think being picked up by the Register is cooler than a "cool post", even if uncredited, but I have some issues with SI's editorial policy.

Cheers, Dan.

P.S. Lou may be technically illiterate, but if the world was technically literate, it wouldn't be running Windows everywhere. The company wasn't doing very well when Lou took over, but IBM was never run by technical types to begin with.
