Zeev, However, going from .28 to .24 Micron, does not really involve new process steps, the same tools are used (at least in most systems), thus I would not expect to see an impact on yields from this transition. I wanted to ask Dr. Harari this exact question, but we ran out of time. My take on this is that the company cannot afford a quarter of marginal yields. Thus, the shrink is a conservative one if you consider that Toshiba is talking about 0.13 micron line widths. Once again this echos Eli's conservatism and patience.
