Hi Jack: From your post, the item that caught my attention was "...- Looking for semiconductor peak by 2002...".

I guess the long term investors should be looking for the door sometime Q1 2001.

LSI Logic CFO Exercises Options, Sells 273,212 Shares

WASHINGTON -- LSI Logic Corp. (LSI) Chief Financial Officer Douglas Norby exercised options for 232,500 shares and sold a total of 273,212 shares in April, according to a Form 4 released Monday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Norby exercised the options on April 28 at prices ranging from $9.47 a share to $15.25 a share. The same day, the CFO sold 273,212 shares at prices ranging from $60.89 a share to $61.81 a share. At the end of the month, Norby directly owned 30,958 common shares.

On April 25, LSI Logic reported first quarter operating income of 26 cents a share, 1 cent above expectations.

LSI Logic supplies chips for broadband, data networking, communications, wireless and set-top box applications. Its shares recently traded at 51 3/8.
