Like it or not, there's a growing momentum in the direction of increasing gun control. The issue is important to some voters (I'm not one - I think gun control laws are largely a waste of time myself). I noticed in the paper this morning that Gov. Bush is going to spend $5 million (from funds at the Governor's discretion) to give away gun locks. Figured I'd bring it up since the issue being discussed has a Bush angle and W doesn't seem to get discussed much on this thread. I would expect more developments like this to occur as the election nears.
