Ike: Supposedly, the Russians have been using palladium as collateral for some big foreign currency loans. The speculation is that the palladium must therefore exist and that it is probably now in Swiss hands or the loans would not be considered "secure". I cannot verify this rumor, and indeed it is just short of speculation. But it is based on this speculation that palladium has gone down in price. True or not, palladium is a very scarce commodity. At 25 times trailing earnings and with mine expansion and a robust market going forward, SWC is a screaming buy IMO.
