Tommy,

Appreciated Friday's commentary: HOW THE BULLISH PERCENT REACTED IN THE 1972--1974 BEAR MARKET

dorseywright.com

Do you recall if any particular stock(s) or sector ROSE during those 30 months or did everything incl the defensive stocks (drugs, food, oil) get whipsawed too?

As always, thanks much for your insight.

Tig

P.S. Enjoy Kevin Depu's (sp) humor on the Afternoon Call.

Tommy,

I greatly appreciate the DWA service, knowledgeable & responsive staff, innovation, and knowing you are here on SI to guide us along the way. The only place where $1 is worth $2+.

But there are always some people (ME) that need a 2 x 4 tossed their (MY) way. After all the explaining & reasoning is said & done, I could have used a message plastered across the Main Page &/or sent by e-mail in BOLD COLOR lettering something to the effect of:

IMPLOY DEFENSIVE STRATEGIES FOR O-T-C STOCKS NOW, or
LAST OPPORTUNITY TO EXIT O-T-C NOW, or
EXIT PRONTO! THIS IS NOT A FIRE DRILL!

And we could have responded: 2 x 4 Acknowledged!

Tig

Tommy & Thread,

Question: Quad Tops.

Which is potentially more significant:
a) AHP in April above BSL or
b) SGP which just broke above BSL?

Thanks much.

Tig

Tommy, not sure if you'd be willing to do this but I'd like to see DWA add several model portfolios that we could follow from a traders and or investors viewpoint.Briefing Com has something like that but I'm sure DWA could do better with the TA.It would be a good way for the group to learn.Maybe members could pick the stocks from which DWA would put this together.Anyway just a thought.

Dave

Hi Tom,
9 to 1 is still surprising, should be 99 to 1 (only because we know you can't please everybody.) Had lunch with a broker friend this afternoon and we ended up talking about DWA. We were both pleasantly surprised that each other knew of you and used your services. You have spoken to his group before, and he said that you were one of the finest people he had ever run across in this business. I was not surprised.
