Jim, if you want to dig up old poll's, why not use this one?
According to a study conducted by Nikkei Market Access, and reported today by Nikkei BP AsiaBizTech, memory makers will ship about 270 million 128MB/144 MB Rambus DRAM chips in 2000, with four companies accounting for 75 percent of production.

In January it was 270 Million, and in March 180 million. What a trend. <g>
These old poll's have zero credibility.
Maybe the best source for determining reality is the shipment of Intel mobo's for RDRAM?
I've seen estimates from the analysts of <500 K units YTD.
And in Q4 we'll have to watch the launch of Willamette/Tehema.
