I have to give credit where credit is due, tho.

I do recall in one recent From the Analyst a comment about "it's not too late", but it was just too subtle & nice and buried deep within the message.

IOW, it just didn't register as being that significant.

I need a real 2 x 4.

A cold hard ALERT!

Something strong with knock-your-socks-off impact.

Yes, Ray, I'll join you and Tig in the 2x4 club. I was very busy during the period that From the Analyst started mentioning that the OTC was not the place to be, so I rarely read that column. Then by the time I became aware of the position on OTC I figured that I'd already been hit by the slide, and that it was over. I needed to hear that the slide had only just begun.
