Hi Poet, good to see you >>>bitchin' and moanin' to Larry well, I have to whine to someone cause most won't listen to me actually this has been a good year gain wise although it has been very difficult given the total lack of clear direction and the massive unpredictable swings in sectors and individual issues my long "hold" account is 94% cash this weekend, but YTD is up 10.986% (non-taxable) my trading account (kept small on purpose) is up in the vicinity of 110-115% YTD (pre tax basis: very difficult to calculate exact gains because I write my weekly pay check out of this and move funds in + out a lot) I'd guess at least 75% of these gains are from shorts so I have to put my complaints in the proper perspective but as a hard core type A trader it is not easy for me to sit here and not find trades that I feel give a solid risk-reward % each day with my luck, come summer when I want to be gone for days at a time there will be a gazillion good trades that I will bitch about missing HAPPY MOM'S DAY to you and all
