Re: the MU cycle

Sorry to admit that I watched it wane and sold at a loss.

I'd like to think that I'm a wiser investor now, at least older <gg>.

New York, May 13 (Bloomberg) -- Alliance Semiconductor Corp., Advanced Fibre Communications Inc. and M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers Ltd. are among the stocks favored by Neil Druker, who manages $200 million with Pangaea LP in Boston, Barron's reported. Druker likes Alliance Semiconductor because he sees its earnings rising as selling prices increase, and he likes Advanced Fibre, a maker of phone equipment, because of the ''insatiable'' demand for fiber-optic services. He sees shares in Radware Ltd., an Israeli Internet traffic-management company, declining because of competition with Cisco Systems Inc., Barron's said.

Shares of Alliance Semiconductor rose 1/2 to 16 7/8 yesterday, after falling 14 percent last week; Advanced Fibre rose 2 11/16 to 45 15/16 after declining less than 1 percent last week. (Barron's 5/15 27)
