Way to go Troops! You deserve credit! This is a serious post when you think about it. There have been some folks on the Porch get absolutely clobbered in this market the past few weeks. There have been some awful stories on here where you folks have been upfront about how bad you and your families got hurt.

But, it dawned on me after responding to Soros a few minutes ago about the market in general. I DO NOT KNOW OF ONE SINGLE PERSON ON HERE THAT GAVE UP AND QUIT! Now that is saying something about the caliber of you fine people.

I agree. The eocnomy is fundamentally healthy.

Also if you look at a chart of the stock market over the century, it's essentially a bull, with bear interruptions. Don't mean that to sound callow, but it's much more bull than bear.

A bear could stay in cash and relax. There's something more to bear mentality--just generally stoking their own fear.
