If you are to place market order on lowly trade option, you are asking to be raped. MM are only require to show 1 (one) contract of the best bid/ask. You will probably get 1 contract filled with the posted price and he will clean your wallet with the remaining.

On the other hand, if you have way out of money options and there were no bids, market order and GTC is the only choice you have left. Let's hope they are not buying back 1 contact at a time per day.
