The guy ran through our backyard but they caught him next door. The cops just left. We were wondering why the helicopter was flying overhead with the big lights in our backyard.

The results of last night's burgler...one crushed callas lily from when he jumped over the wall. Apparently the dude is a gardener in the neighborhood. Good job to case the properties, I guess. He was burlerizing the house next door where the teenage girl was home alone and when she heard him she ran out of the house and he took off over the back walls. Our yard will have exacted revenge for the crushed callas lily since the entire opposite wall is lined with rose bushes. No way the didn't catch a few thorns. They caught the guy two doors down. Lots of excitement.
