I wonder if Gilder made any mention of this suit in the latest GTR. I'd guess not, given TERN's price spike. This looks like a class action suit, complete with a signup link: "If you purchased or otherwise obligated yourself to purchase the publicly traded securities of Terayon between February 2, 2000 and April 11, 2000 you qualify to participate in this action for violation of the federal securities laws."

Curtis,
From the Gilder Report about TERN: "In the end, standards, like history, are written by the victors."
Also: " In a crucial US breakthrough for Terayon" S-CDMA technology, Adelphia Comm., the sixth largest cable TV operator in the US has announced it is deploying both TERN proprietary S-CDMA cable modems and its Terajet DOCIS standard compliant modems. Adelphia is by far the largest US company to deploy S-CDMA modems.
Also: "The lesson is clear: Standards are convenient, but they won't trump customer demand if a not yet standard technology can meet that demand."
Sorry for the plagerism of copyrite material from Dr. Gilder's letter but for the purposes of debunking a bogus lawsuit it adds reality to the money grubbing legal scam.
And another thing, why is it so hard to believe that Dr. Gilder is an honest genius hard at work to bring to light the best technology? Could it be that Dr. Gilder is almost alone in a sea of stock promoters of lesser intelect and scruples?

Unfortunately it's generally only lawyers like Milberg Weiss et al who finally profit from these kinds of lawsuits.
