Anna in Vienna,

The Kaua'i photos are done with an "off the shelf" Epson Photo PC 850Z with 2.1 megapixel resolution. The photos were taken on a 96 MB SanDisk CompactFlash card.

I took over 400 photos during the trip, deleted all but 156 of the best focused and framed, and posted my favorites on PhotoPoint. The photos there are compressed [10:1] which I find amazing. The file sizes are between 40 and 70KB only.

This is a glimpse of the potential of digital photography.
