I agree, that is a better place to put it and that is exactly the same picture in the slot A manual. I have mine on the side near that spot, so we're close.

I wasn't going to build one but a friend wanted me to make one for his P3 and I figured might as well stick one on mine.

I have a fan in the power supply, a dual fan on the heat sink, and I added a case fan in the front, so what I have should be sufficient.
