NOKIA hates to see spectrum sold. WHY? It is clear to large operators like VOD that if a proper value is
placed on spectrum, then it will be important to use the most efficient wireless technology (Multi-carrier
CDMA)and install it fast so as to immediately earn a return on spectrum investment. NOK wants operators to
go the very costly GPRS-EDGE-DS CDMA upgrade path rather than the use CDMA Multi-carrier in Europe.

In this link, NOK's Socialist protectonist thought pattern stands out. They stand squarely against spectrum
auctions which dictate that very valuable sprctrum not be wasted with NOK's chosen technology.

Deep down in their hearts all Europeans are just Socialists looking for a government hand out.

Link to photos of new Korean MP3 phone. Taken at SanDisk AGM last week by Ausdeer, one of the best contributors to SI and a long time SNDK poster.

SNDK and QCOM are getting more closely tied together with the need for small flash memory storage.

Aus didn't remember the name of the manufacturer of the phone except that it was Korean. I assume its CDMA!!!

Take a look a the photos of the tiny removable storage chips that are used with new QCOM asci equiped phones ....great goodies and more coming.

As for China well nice if it happens but it looks to me like a lost cause if the whole labor movement is against it six months ahead of an election.

Best regards,

L
