One problem with the argument of the post, wealth is achieved by acquisition at CSCO as well as the pooling of interests method. To some extent this can be a (Barrons article) "house of cards" if there is a breakdown. However, CSCO is skilled at picking companies they acquire, which in turn will continue to help CSCO dominate the sub markets they are in. So I agree they are wealthy, and there's nothing wrong with taking my stock and buying sound companies. I give them my permission, except every week spend $800 Million?

Great story. This helps clarify the cash machine.

And they have a lot of it to play with in the future. It gives them incredible options to play multiple solutions going forward.

LU and NT don't have these options to the degree Cisco does!
