Larry, Personally, I try and use technical analysis as a way to identify good entry points. It is useful for this, but you do miss out when something takes off (like QCOM last yr). By its very nature, TA can only spot a trend once there is enough data. This generally means you missed the bottom (or the top). I suspect that is why it didn't beat LTB&H, especially in the volatile markets that we have had over the last few year. By the time a signal triggers in a volatile market, you already lost a lot or missed out on a big gain. Heeren
