Just select months and see the difference.

Then think about the difference active management can make.

The point is - don't get emotional about stocks and be aware of ALL of the issues that can affect price performance. As in general, censureship of ideas causes losses in equity markets. It doesn't pay to cheerlead, hold your head in the sand, or refuse to think.

Realistic competitors in the Li Poly battery business will be the making of Valence and something that will make the market for Valance not something to be feared.

I have been involved in several start-ups involving new technology products and in all cases I found that marketing the product became much easier once competitors had emerged. The presence of competition in the market place both validates your technology and provides the buyers with a level of comfort of a second source of supply.

While it may appear on the superficial view that having a monopoly on a market segment is an advantage, it has been my experience that it is really a handicap. IMO the sooner Valence license their technology and generate a few competitors the better.

As long as their product is as good as or better than their competitors they can only gain in the long haul by more competition in the market place, and the sooner inferior battery technology will be replaced in all major applications.
