I am relatively sure of that. I will operate on that premise until it is disproved. It is an assumption I make based on the perceptions of my lifetime. Are those perceptions the same as your perceptions? Are any perceptions representative of reality, as it may or may not abide (to quote Lather, quoting the Big Lebowsky), in a way we may or may not be able to understand it? I am also relatively sure the sun will rise tomorrow, and the ground will not dissolve beneath my feet, and my toothbrush will be where I left it. Does that mean I have that absolute knowledge, or that I believe it is knowable right now? No- I am not ready to say it is absolute, and while the universe may be knowable on some level- in that I can function in it- I do not believe it is now knowable on a real level, on a complete level- and I wonder if it ever will be.

I do not think it is a virtue to be sure.
