I have started buying some of these as a retirement inflation hedge. They pay 3.5% plus the CPI, so if we have another round of big inflation, you always get a 3.5% real return. I like buying them over the Internet using my TD Waterhouse VISA (1% cash rebate and over 30 days to pay for them)
