I don't think it's about being against IP. I think it's a seeking to acknowledge the changing nature of IP in the internet age. --- IP is becoming less about patents and royalties and more about trade marks and branding. --- It's not just that 'data containers' have changed. It's the way (and the speed) at which information is exchanged altogether. Old IP conventions apply less and less. --- As "software" becomes network services, royalties (from end users) becomes a quaint notion. -JCJ
