You should check your math. Firstly Qcoms forward PE is arround 70, I dont know what NOK's is but I would guess its arround the same. The second fact is that Qcom's revenues are irrlevent, its how much money they make thats important. Qcom will earn over 1Billion next year, the revenues Q has would be much higher if they hadnt sold the Handsets, and Infrastructure. As for why NOK needs to buy Qcom? Because they cant make a CDMA phone to save their lives. They are generating a standard based on it, and the world is migrating to 2.5g's phones and NOK has nothing. There was a time MOT was the talk of the town, until they dropped the ball on DIGITAL phones. Is the same fate inevitable for NOK in CDMA???? We Will see.
